How to Host a Dinner Party Cooking Class with Douglas Leach (FULL)

Let’s make dinner. And have some friends over. And not be exhausted. That’s how to think about a dinner party. In class, we’ll put together a Spanish-themed meal. Start with a White Bean Dip. Serve Saffron/Almond Chicken with Zucchini Noodles. Finish with a Semolina/Hazelnut cake with Cinnamon Orange Sauce. We’ll talk about planning, shopping, prepping, and cooking.

Douglas Leach has been cooking for the past 50 years and has done every job possible in restaurants. His cooking school, Home Cooking San Francisco, offered classes in California/Mediterranean style dishes. A home cook at heart, Douglas has traveled to Morocco, Sicily, France and Spain to study with local cooks and Michelin chefs. Now retired, he cooks for himself, friends and family.
