Hannah and Liz owners of Vina Ann’s Homemade Pies & Baked Goods are two childhood friends who started baking pies for their family and friends during the pandemic. They’ve since expanded and now share the baking love – from cheesecakes to cookies to quiches and more! – with folks all over Portland.
In this baking class, you will learn techniques for the piping bag. How to properly fill, hold, and the right pressure to use. Hannah will teach you how to make Vina Ann’s Swiss Meringue Buttercream the perfect frosting to pipe. She will show you a couple of piping styles and how to also make the hydrangea design using two colors. You will practice piping on parchment paper before decorating your cupcakes.
