Restaurateur Matt Kaplan who operated MC Kitchen in Boston MA before moving to Maine will showcase the versatility of tempeh in multiple recipes. Tempeh is a fermented superfood made with just three ingredients: beans, vinegar, and starter culture. It is packed with nutrients & vitamins and is one of the highest sources of plant protein. In partnership with Tootie’s Tempeh, a tempeh maker in Biddeford ME, Chef Matt will show you how to make tempeh salad (mock chicken salad), tempeh bacon, and tempeh & cauliflower piccata.
