Virtually meet one of our stellar new Sales Associates, Stephanie, as she makes her famous Gluten-Free Brownies. She brought them in for us to try and we were blown away and we insisted she host a cooking demo to share the recipe. She developed the recipe with her former colleague, Franzi while she was the chef at Local in Brunswick. The name Franzi’s Gluten-Free Brownies stuck and now you get to try them, too!

In a medium-size bowl mix together

5 Tablespoons Oat Flour (I use gluten-free oats and grind them in my food processor)

5 Tablespoons Corn Starch

1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

1 1/2 Cup Sugar

Pinch Espresso Powder

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 Cup Milk Chocolate Chips

1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips

In a small saucepot melt

1 Cup Milk Chocolate Chips

1 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips

1 1/2 Sticks Butter

In a small bowl whisk together

6 Eggs

1 teaspoon Vanilla

Add melted chocolate and eggs to the first bowl. Mix everything together. Pour into a lined, sprayed 1/2 hotel pan (or a 9″ x 13″ pan). Bake 350° for 30 – 45 minutes until the center is set.

Let cool. Once cool top with ganache.  Refrigerate until the ganache is firm.
