Maine’s First Ship Launch — Celebrate Virginia and Save 16%*!
Our neighbors down at Maine’s First Ship are hosting a big celebration this Saturday, June 4th to launch their reconstruction of the 1607 pinnace Virginia. The launch celebration will span much of Commercial Street in Bath, including Waterfront Park, with music, special guests, local food vendors, local artists, and demonstrations.

We want to help cheer on this amazing accomplishment, so if you go down and take a photo or selfie at the party (Ex: you with Virginia in the background, in front of the sign on the Freight Shed, at Waterfront Park with the band in the background…etc..you get the idea!) and show us the photo during check-out you’ll receive 16% off* your purchase at Now You’re Cooking on Saturday, June 4thWhy 16%? 1607 is when the original Virginia — the first English ocean-going ship built in the new world was constructed at Fort St George in what is now Phippsburg Maine.

Here are some photo examples!
