It’s that time of year! Let’s get our ovens warm and our houses filled with the good smells of holiday baking. Laura Wilkinson will be back in our kitchen to demonstrate two baking projects on Thursday, December 3 at 6pm, Stamped Sugar Cookies and Holiday Bundt Cakes.
Stamped Sugar Cookies
1c unsalted butter
1c brown sugar
2 2/3c flour
1tsp baking powder
Cream butter & sugar; beat in egg and vanilla.
Mix flour, baking powder & salt. Slowly add to butter mixture.
Blend thoroughly. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Pre-heat oven to 350° F. Let dough sit out for a few minutes to soften slightly.
Roll into golf ball-sized balls and press with cookie press.
Bake 10-12 minutes.
