A family breakfast favorite for this week’s cooking demo — Silver Dollar Pancakes! Mike will be using the Zwilling Silver Dollar Pancake Pan (reg. $29.99 on sale for $9.99 until 1/31/21) for this demo, but you can use a griddle or a frying pan, too.
1 C Buttermilk
1 Egg
3 T Butter, melted
3/4 C All Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Baking Soda
Put the buttermilk, egg, and butter in a bowl and stir briskly until smooth and blended. Stir the dry ingredients together and add to the egg mixture. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened — leave the lumps! Heat the griddle to medium-hot, and spoon on the batter after lightly greasing. Cook until bubbles break, then turn over and cook briefly.
