1# Mixed Nuts
2 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Dark Rum
1 oz Sweet & Savory Spice Mix from Gryffon Ridge Spice Merchants
Pre-heat oven to 400º F. Toast 1 pound of mixed nuts (anything goes here!) in the oven until light brown. Once you smell the nuts, then they’re done. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed sauté pan over medium heat. Stir in rum. Add toasted nuts to the pan and toss until covered. Pour toasted nuts in a bowl and add spice mix and butter/rum mixture. Spread on a cookie sheet to dry. Be sure to store in an airtight glass container. Make great host gifts!
